E55 - opinions welcome

Some may know I have looking for one like this:

Contacting the owner tomorrow - any opinions on this car?

a) any thoughts on buying such a car privately?
b) seat bolster wear
c) options - anything missing
d) don't be a prat advertising it on this forum !

I particularly like those wheels on the E class, they really suit the car without being look at me loud.

Bolster seems worn for such low mileage.....

Budget for an MB warranty. At that mileage, you can get Tier 1 which is equivalent to the approved used warranty, and new car warranty. Phone your dealer for a quote - the last one I bought was just shy of £1k IIRC?

b) seat bolster wear

Possible owner not using easy entry, and is brushing seat on entry/exit. Studs on denim, handbags, keyring on belt loop, could inflict some damage if repeated.

Car does look nice and I like the spec.

Without seeing it in person the seat and steering wheel looks quite shinny? given 52K miles?

Maybe nothing just the flash on camera for the wheel, The seat can be sorted relatively easy with some leather dye and as mentioned it could have been say a big chap constantly catching in getting in / out.


It does look nice and would certainly view to chek it out properly.
