For me, I like the idea of more power without much intention to use it.

If it’s £3k for a tuning box then that’s a bit steep. I’d have thought would be about £1.5k..

Some of us take them down the drag racing track where standard power won't cut it. You should do it one day in your 6.2 E63. Then either get a supercharger or an M157 car.

Don't feel the need to get down the drag strip. Had the supercharged option. It's ok, not my bag nowadays

Good job there are no turns or corners on them drag strips can't imagine that supercharged w211 will handle them so well (with all that power)

I wouldn't go back to stock now.

When I got my most recent car I knew I needed a minimum of 600bhp, now I feel my next car will need to be 650+

Mine has PCW exhaust as well as the Brabus box.

It sounds monstrous.

You are going to be in for a shock if you think you are going to get the factory supplied, fitted an warranted Brabus box for £1500.

Rather than half your £3k I'm afraid you need to double it !

Did you have any warranty concerns with PCW? Would it void? In the BM there were a lot with the mod and nobody had cited any such warranty issues

It makes a huge difference. Relatively normal in standard mode and then insane pops, bangs and crackles once Sport+ is selected.

I'm confident on warranty issues as it could just as easily be a cat back exhaust system from a. third party.

Paul lives near to me and I think mine was the first he has done.

Every car mentioned here has its own merits and issues. In a few years time the argument is going to be who has the most powerful motor and who’s battery lasts longest!
The next amg is a 4 potter and also soon the first amg ev. Personally I think an ev isn’t worthy of an amg badge, as amg is associated with engineering better engines.
Anyone hear of cosworth making new engines these days? as I don't, and look at what amazing cars their engines went into.
As for power, well who’s the better driver? I’d love to put today’s F1 drivers into Lola race cars, and then we’ll see who the best is.
Our cars have a guaranteed place in the history books, so instead of bitching, enjoy them while we can!!!
