E63s W213 vs M3 F80

I stand corrected. Cosworth have done the engine on the Gordon Murray t-50

I’m contemplating selling it and getting an M5 if I’m honest. I wouldn’t remap as I’ve got 2yrs warranty lol

Without a doubt the 0-60 on E is brutal and not many will match that but on rolling race it was embarrassing
definitely sell the e63 and buy an M5, stick some average quality tyres on it, stick budget 95 ron fuel in it , race your friend, get butt hurt again and buy a porsche 911 turbo a next time... repeat until you end up with a tesla ...

A course in undrstsnding how a car works i.e torque delivery / gear ratios's, etc would no go amiss either!

It's not fit to be run as an AMG in yours and some other members on this forum.

I think we know who have been running there mouths in this thread!!

Some of you are a really nice bunch it has to be said!!!

I'm afraid somebody has to say this.

We are by and large at least a reasonable bunch. We're articulate (to varying degrees), we're not stupid, we're not gobby, we're not childish, and we don't have a problem with people who hold differing opinions to ours.

If you don't fit in, and so far you don't, perhaps you could find other forums more to your liking; you're unlikely to encounter many from this forum on them.

I'm really sorry to have a different opinion on certain matters that it has really driven you to want to eradicate me from this forum.

I'm really considering jumping off a bridge with M156 in toe as you say I don't fit in with you and your cronies!

don't know what's faster you or your bike lol![/QUOTE

You come across as a real intelligent chap, on my life you do!!!

I doubt many love the M156 more than me, and I really don’t see anyone bashing the M156.

I only see an expression of personal preference for the M157 and/or M113K, and a statement of fact that the M157 is both more powerful and more easily tuned.

I would like to say that this thread has run it’s course but the tone will, I’m sure, resurface in another thread soon.

Where have I disagreed with any of the facts you have stated. It far obvious the 157 is a faster car and more tuneable. I have stated my opinion that the 156 sounds better. For me having this opinion. I am being outcasted. I couldn't give 500 .u.ks that I have been.

I'm allowed my opinion. Like the rest of them on here.

The W212 is really capable car with the 6.2 onboard. But many have pure negative comments towards it. They thing that makes me laugh is none of them in question have actually owned the 156 in the w212.

Not once have I stated the 156 is better that the 157. Only Purley on stock exhaust sound!!!

Over and out!!!!

Close the door quietly and remember to place all of your toys neatly back in the pram ;)

your suggestion is by far the more logical and sensible option, however, there is not much drama in that!

I didn’t say you disagreed. I’m saying that nobody is bashing the M156. I don’t think anyone even disagrees with your assertion that the M156 sounds best, nevermind make you into an outcast. For some reason though you do, I just can’t see it myself.

I actually share your view, the M156 sounds better, I prefer it’s power delivery, and I believe that it will be remembered as the better engine of the three mentioned in this thread: M113/M113K, M156, and M157. It’s a remarkable and charismatic engine, and will be forever considered to be special simply because it will be one of the last very large naturally aspirated engines.

I'm almost tempted to follow him, just to see what he says next...

Why all this talk of M113/M113K, M156, M157, W212, W211 .............................
Can I bring everyone's attention to the OP's thread title. We managed to stay on topic for the first 2 pages, then .
