Has anyone used the body shop in Broxburn? I got a very detailed quote to respray the keyed door on SLK and they seem professional enough,but looking for a recommendation before I go ahead.
Unsure if I should go through insurance as it is £750 and xs is £250 with protected NCB.Any Thoughts?

If you ever make a bodywork corrosion claim in future they will measure the paint thickness and if it turns out the car has had "unapproved" paint in the past they can get a bit iffy about meeting any subsequent claim from MB.

i took my BMW there (as in the 2nd post posted above).

They damaged the car door when doing the job. The actually job they did was 100% great. The whole side of the car was sprayed and the actual repair (dented door) looked brand new afterwards.

After a bit of arguing with the manager they agreed to fix it "at cost" for £40. Their repair was good and they also repaired a few other marks on my car (not related to them by the way) included in that price, so i was happy.

i would recommend them as i think this was just bad luck, and they did sort my issue out in the end.
