Easy Entry Electric Seat

Hi there ,

Our one sometimes does that , check that the seat is 'seated' properly before you pull the lever up ....

When you lift the lever, the back folds forward and the base slides forward , if it doesn't fold the back back into place and make sure it seats properly and then try again .

Works on ours ... HTH

will give it a go

IIRC then if the seat is more than half way forward on the runners then only the back rest folds

I had a weird thing with my W208 the other day in that the drivers seat wouldn't go back any further than where I had it set. It would go forward but not back any further, despite me fiddling around with the easy entry stuff till I was blue in the face.

In the end I spent a few minutes moving the seat forward all the way, up all the way, back all the way, down all the way, and again forward all the way. Basically a big circle at the limit of its up-ness and down-ness (as you can tell I'm using all the technical terms here).

That worked in my case and may work for you.

i will move it to the limits of its up-ness and down-ness fingers crossed it will work for me too :P

i have taken the back off the seat at the moment so i can see the works and making sure all is ok in there!!

you are adament not to start a thread... well ok...

anyway.. you need switches, door cards, wiring loom and seats.

really you want a donor car to save all the messing about...

Not worth it in my opinion...
