ebay postage

ive 149 records ive sold on ebay to a guy in athens,i clearly stated in my advert collection only from the manchester area only,no postage.the guy in athens won the bidding ,has paid me through ebay but has asked me to arrange postage.does anyone know a courier who will pack the vinyl and deliver to athens.

Try DHL.
They are the ones that spring to mind.

You'll have to pack it yourself. I've used City-Link & Acclaim before, both are good. ANC leaves a lot to be desired I'm afraid. Both will be very expensive! Post office might be your best bet here, cheaper, recorded delivery.

absolutely - double make sure he cannot get his payment back etc etc after you've sent them.

TOP TIP:

DONT ARRANGE THE COURIER - I would pass the courier details to the buyer to arrange 'and pay' for 'collection' from you and only when the couriers have confirmed they are coming should you to spend time and effort packing them.

My view would be refund him the money and re-auction. Would not be keen on sending something like that overseas.

If you use someone like TNT, the delivery costs can be sent to the receiver not the sender. He will need to arrange the collection from you, but you will have to pack them. Use a bigger box than is necessary, lots of protection, but don't make the package too heavy as it will not be handled well. If you cannot lift it easilly yourself, then make two packages up, it will not cost any more. You will need to give the carrier the dimensions of the package(s) and total weight.
