ECU re-map or Tuning box

Hi there, has anyone experienced an ECU re-map or tuning box from Avon tuning.
I have an S204 C200 cdi and wondered if a tuning box vs ECU remap is the way to go for a little more grunt?
I'm thinking of Avon Tuning products, anyone had any dealings with those guys?
Any comments gratefully received.
