I was talking to a MB service advisor I know about Service Plus and he said that MB have tightened a lot the payments and are turning down a lot more claims. Most recent was for a pair of struts for a CLK cabriolet

That B service is cheap................ shows how much MB deem it is worth .....that is one good discount they have offered THEMSELVES..

Didn't see this post earlier, but £252 is the labour charge only for the B Service and that'll be plus VAT.

So if you add the oil, filters etc, then you're certainly looking at the typical £450 or so.

Of course, Service Plus won't pay those prices - the invoice they get will be hugely discounted.

MB Kettering have a 6ft high by 3ft wide banner advertising Service Plus in their foyer!!

My £1.5k C Class just passed its MOT cost... £53.10.... Don't make them like they used to!

Just spoken to Tony Purslow Guildford to book my car in for a service. Asked about Service Plus (car coming up the three years old now) and was told that MB dont do it any more, and that there are no plans they are aware of for any replacement.

Anyone got an inside track on this?

They stopped the scheme about two months ago. There is some suspicion that they are being 'harder' on claims from existing members!
