Another quick question ......
Due to having a manual when at lights or on hills, I tend to hold on abalanced clutch.(see 'clunking' thread)
Normally keeping the revs quite low (under the 1000) at this point, I have noticed the engine revs start to 'hunt' and go above the 1000 and then back to 6-800 where I am holding the engine revs on the gas pedal.
Any ideas as to why this occurs as I am unsure about holding the revs at the 1000+ mark whilst at lights.
Will this damage the car/clutch in any way?
