Erratic wiper - '97 C200

It's turning out to be one of those days.......

Just been out in the car - tipping down with the wet stuff and the wiper decided it was gonna do it's best to be bloody awkward and succeeded brilliantly!

It doesn't do intermittent wipe, wipes on all the other settings - but only a few times before stopping at any place of it's choosing on the windscreen. Now I'm no mechanic but this doesn't seem right somehow and I've got a really crap feeling that this will mean a new wiper motor - or could it be anything to do with the switch/stalk?

Lubricate the wiper mechanising as soon as possible, it that doesn’t ease the problem then you may need a new motor, you will have to examine the motor and mechanism to see if it is indeed at fault.

Check your N10 relay as well in the fuse box.
