Euro Projector Light Replacement For Standard 202 Lights

Lose the chrome on the bottom grille slat, otherwise it looks Ok-ish.

Not my thing, but not too offensive.

I thought the chrome on the grille was permanent.

Does anyone here have any idea where I can get the ice white interior light bulbs from for the boot and inside the car? I've rang all my local motor factors and they all supply blue but not ice white unfortunately :( Also, I noticed recently elsewhere that you can have the foot-wells lit up when the front doors open, how is this done? Is it an optional extra or an aftermarket upgrade? Any advice greatly appreciated

Get LED white festoon bulbs for the interior lights.

You can get footwell lamps from post 2000 E class for both front and rear footwells.
Interestingly the ones for the rears are LED lamps anyway, alternatively use doorcard puddle lamps.

I bet the chrome strip just pulls off.

Thanks for the info (very quickly may I add too) my friend, much appreciated. Where would I get the white festoon bulbs from though? Is there anywhere on the net that specialises in this sort of thing as I start work before most are out of bed and finish long after the shops shut :(

Also the footwell lamp kits i'd probably be better off looking for one being scrapped or maybe a call to Mercman when i'm in work tomorrow. What year E-Class should I be looking for? Sorry for all the questions but i'm relatively new to this Merc modding etc and if you don't ask, you don't know ;)

Once again, many thanks for your help and advice

Remember that you will lose the fade in/out lighting when you fit interior LEDs.

I have these Xenon white puddle lights fitted festoons to my doors.

(See my Sig link for pictures)

Did you do that as a mod or were the puddle lights as standard

They were one of the options selected by the orignal owner when the car was new, I just changed the bulbs :D

-611 Courtesy lamps for front doors

The work independantly to the interior lights aswell which is nice - unlike my Dad's W210

Glad I found this, drove down to Hampshire this morning, and somehow the OSF Indicator fell out of it's slot on the M40! Luckily no damage, and it all still works, just slotted back in but it's not 100% secure. I've been toying with these lights since I saw them, might treat myself when funds allow. Don't look as OTT as some others I've seen.
