The car was quick in standard format which was 457 bhp but after the map Jerry at Eurocharged said i should be around the 500BHP mark.
I ordered the handheld tuner from Eurocharged and when it arrived it was a simple case of plugging into the OBD port and downloading the standard map. I then connected the handheld programmer to my laptop and downloaded the map from the handheld programmer. E mailed the map to jerry and within 20 minutes he e mailed back with a new map. I downloaded the map to the handheld plugged it into the car and downloaded to the car. There were a few whirring noises from the car (my heart was beating and i did have a little sweat on
).
However started the car and thought " that sounds different much deeper bark on start". I took it for a steady drive up to the dual carrigeway clicked Sport and nailed it.....Holy S*it I did not expect such a immense difference. Its really quick now.
A couple of weeks later a guy pulled up alongside in a PPP car and expected to pull away from me and he was devasted when i pulled away.
I have since fitted the Carbinio Intake system (again from Eurocharged) and took it down to MSL on the MB Club Eurocharged day and Jerry "Fine tuned it" for the new intake. It made 536BHP on the day and it really is quick now!!!! And ironically the fuel economy went up by 2-3 mpg ha ha.
The service and communication I had from Eurocharged was outstanding and the man is a real gentleman when you meet him in person.
The Handheld comes with a full set of instructions and is really easy to use. One thing to note when you get the handheld you have to get a code from Jerry to unlock the handheld and use it for the 1st time.
I am no tech wizard by any means and i found the whole process easy and i have the standard map on the handheld incase i need to flash it back.
