Well I spoke to him a couple of times & he replied quite promptly.

Then I paid for the part & I didn't here from him again! Not even to confirm payment, delivery etc

But around a week later the part has arrived as promised. Now fitted.

The best part is I was quoted 291 Euros & I got it from him for 140 posted to my doorstep!

So well done, thanks.

Better luck than me then, I have given up on Nick. All over half a dozen bolts.

My dad just bought an alloy wheel from Nick. Ordered on a Saturday, dispatched on Tuesday received on Wednesday. He's really pleased with the service he got.

I'm sure there are lots of folk here who have had a positive experience, I'm just not one of them. :dk:

I have emailed him twice now and heard nothing,i need a new front wheel part no MB6 603 1230 an 8.5jx19H2 fr28 amg alloy,if anyone can help. These have been actual emails to him at euromerc,strange!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Does it show on the site as being in stock ?

He is a bit touch & go as it seems he only replies when really necessary. It could be he doesn't have the part & so does not send any info...

That lack of response cost him a few hundred quid in sales that went to my local dealer instead.

I admire your obvious loyalty if not your sarcasm. I ordered fairly basic items, a set of mudflaps, from Nick, after a long wait I had to contact him via PM to be told the set he had in stock wasn't complete and he would ship when he got a complete kit. Eventually they arrived. While fitting them it became clear there were a dozen bolts missing. But by this time they were fitted and rather than take them back off I used some MB plastic press rivets which would hold long enough for the bolts to be shipped. I promptly contacted Nick who promised to ship the bolts ( I would go out and buy them elsewhere if I knew the sizes ) but after a number of reminders he has fallen silent.

I don't care how wonderful everyone else finds this service it's not how I wish to spend my cash. So no, they are not gold plated bolts but I did pay for them as part of the kit and shouldn't expect to have the micky taken because I make others aware of this poor service I received.

Mirras.Mudflaps on an SL.Maybe is time for you to get a W124 with mudflaps, lol

I'll maybe take them off again once they start to use that newfangled tarmacadam stuff on these 'ere roads squire.... unless they fall off because of the missing bolts.

I bought a comand unit from Nick. It was brand new and absolutely top notch, despite someone referring to it as a cheap palmed off unit it certainly wasnt. Still on my shelf as it happens :(

You've lost me, who referred to it as a cheap palmed off unit and why? :dk:

Never mind. All I was saying was that Nick supplied me with a brand new comand unit exactly as it was described. I cant fault his service. I just havnt sold/installed the comand yet thats all.

None of which changes the fact I did not get the level of service I should expect. :(

You're like a dog with a bone, aren't you ?

Surely the saving you made by buying the mudflapps from Nick you could have bought the bolts youself and still been well up on the dealer prices.
How much were the bolts anyway? £2 max? :D

Mirras said he would have bought the bolts himself if... he knew their dimensions.
