So , dad bought an ML430 earlier this year to use as a general workhorse at work. It replaces the old Jeep Cherokee that he had owned for 15 years !

But , everything needs tinkering with , so its had a rear spare wheel carrier fitted , MB Nibal 18 inch split rims , new mats , and a few other bits ( all thanks to Nick at Euromerc :thumb: )

The next thing was to replace the faded front lights , again , everyones favourite parts man ( Nick ) came up trumps again with a nice set of facelift lights.

Wiring was far too complicated for us to do ( wiring pins are different , levelling system is different ) so we got a local auto electrician to sort it out.

Big recommendation for Richard at Twickenham Auto Electrics , who can do pretty much anything and isn't afraid to actually 'fix' stuff as opposed to fit new parts. He has re-soldered our A class light switch after dismantling it , saving us £105 !!

Trying to talk him into side and front bars next ;)

Side bars are a maybe , i don't think he'll go for the fronts as it needs to have a front towbar fitted soon and i think it will foul the A bar if it is fitted.

Looks great.

The facelift front lights are so much nicer, makes the car look a lot fresher. The side bars look great, we had some on our W163:

I wouldn't go for any bar on the front.

Are they the Xenon's ? Did you have Xenons before, if not, did you fit the self levelling mechanism and the washers ?

Thanks

Richard

No , not xenons , just facelift halogens

How much was the installation and the actual headlights? I want to upgrade my '00 w163 lights soon.
