Familiar E55 W211 Moved to New Home Further North

Bit of an epic couple of days, back on the ground and out for a run around the car park.

Had some issues with the brake bleeding (on Star), bit of a pain, got there in the end.

The new rear Air Springs didn't seem to want to inflate, used Star to fill them then they seemed ok.

Who knows the magic for setting the ride height/rear level sensor?

Few more bits to go on, heat shields, bumber and the wheel arch covers plus undertrays.

Stunning work PAT, she's like a new car! That Rear height control rod is a right pain in the bum to try and get at, Looks pretty level from the pic bud

Seems quite level but I'd like to explore how to have it checked properly.

Thought I could hear the rear Arnott springs clicking today at a regular interval like they were trying to fill or empty but then the noise went away.

Who knows where this little 2 pin connector under the gear shift lever goes, driving me nuts @Alps

^^^ Goes nowhere I believe. I've got one too. Possibly an optional extra feature our cars haven't got.

Thanks, that lets me rest easier, was racking my brain and had no idea where it went.

I wonder what the extra could be.

It attaches to the 100bhp extra boost-tronic switch.

And here's me thinking it was for the ejector seat Lee :D

Another long day.....

Last of the heat shields fitted with some custom mods to make them a little better. ;)

Front wheel arch covers and all the undertrays fitted, rear bumper fitted.

Everything checked and double checked and the brake pipes all waxed up with White Lithium Grease.

Just the rear wheel arch covers then put the boot back together and a bit of the inside.

Sorry no photos, been a busy busy time.

It does help having the guys at work help as they love the car, so much easier when there is another couple of guys there helping out and a big thanks for doing this till 1am. ^^

Last little bit in the morning (in a few hours) before we rip the 2 Post Lift out before the builders come in from Monday to rip the building to bits.

its looking lovely by the way, let me know when your ready to sell :)

Ive been thinking about that wire too... i rings a bell... Alps may have hit the nail on the head, Cigar lighter light perhaps??

Certainly no where on the gear shift for it to plug into.
I found a mention online saying it doesn't connect so think I'm ok.

Will get a picture up later of car back on all fours and fully back together before its mot.
