Feeling a little cruel - keep or break the 300TE?

To bring an end to this thread - the 300TE lives on

Took it for an MOT today - straight through with no advisories!

I'm stuck with it again...

Total expenditure in the last year - 1x oil filter and 5L of Fuchs Titan XTR semi-syn oil back before the summer. I washed it on Monday and hoovered it yesterday - first clean in 6+ months I reckon.

What a car - I feel guilty and will treat it to some TLC perhaps in due course

Glad to hear it, Will. I always have to have a second look whenever I see one of these lovely old cars on the road - even when I'm sat in my own!

Reading your comments it sounds like there are more reasons to keep it than get rid of it!
But if you are fed up with it, sell it now with a fresh MOT, must be worth a few hundred. If you run it through the winter then try to sell it with only a few months mot remaining the value must drop.

(But I think you really want to keep it.............)
