Does anyone have any experience of fitting a bury cc9060 handsfree kit to a 2003 CLK with standard audio10 radio/cd player fitted.

I have stripped down the centre console to gain access to the loom which was easy enough. I have tried plugging the switchbox/cable into the back of the radio. The radio maintains its functionality but no sign yet of power to the BURY. I guess I need to hook up another wire or switch something over. Have searched on line so far to no avail. Any help most appreciated. Thanks

Can't help other to say I am having a simiar problem in my Saab, only I have got Power, but no sound. Gave up in disgust after losing not an insignificant amount of skin due to the stupid location of the connector. grrr.

Have you wired up both switchable and constant 12v and negative. It sounds like you need a circuit tester to make sure that your connections are good.

Beware !

Please check the supply voltage to the CV9060 before hard wiring, the 9040 works at 5.2 volts (as I found to my cost)

I fitted a cc9060 to my S210 E class, also with Audio 10, a month or so back and found that an additional wire was needed for the "switched live" feed. This is because the Audio 10 does not have any switched live connection. The cigar lighter power feed was a simple connection point in my case.

Thanks for all comments ! thankfully managed to work it out earlier today.

The "switched live" was the key ! Also, had no sound initially but when I moved the switch for sound to the left position it worked ! Sound comes through left speaker and is perfectly clear. A brilliant system, so easy to use and very easy to fit now that we know how !

My Auto Electricians had the same problem, mine unit is now wired directly into the speakers with the volume being controlled on the BUry rather than the stereo.

Looking at doing that now. Just have to work out how to get the line out rather than the speakers as Saab use a balanced audio signal to a amp. If I connect to the speakers as is it cuts in with a huge 'thuump' It is causing me grief.

sounds like maybe you need check that the mute wire is matched up correctly ?

I fitted this hands free unit into my car about 6 months ago and from what i remember it is just "plug n play".My head unit is an alpine double din unit but it was just a matter of unplugging the power and speaker iso connections(from head unit and car)and plugging the bury unit in between.Hope you do get it sorted because once its up and running it is a fantastic unit, crackle free and clear.

Same as me with the Volvo separate iso lead required plug it all toether and you're away, as below

I've found Bury a nightmare to be honest. I am now shortly going to be ordering my 3rd lead. Fortunately the supplier has agreed to take the others back.

Saab do not help. The audio system is way more advanced than most sending balanced audio signals through the iso wiring to the amp, and it seems that not everyone at Bury is up to speed on this.
