I'm attempting to fit a towbar to my W212 2012 Estate. I've been unable to work out how to remove the rear light clusters and remove the bumper. Can anyone provide advice on removing the light clusters, I've already removed the two nuts from inside the boot, but the clusters won't budge. I've also removed all of the fasteners from the bumper but it won't budge along the sides in front of the lights. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Can't help Andy, but welcome anyway.

Thanks for the response, I eventually managed to remove the bumper without removing the light clusters, a case of gently but firmly unclipping each clip along the bumper and under the light clusters. All stripped down now ready to fit the towbar tomorrow...hopefully! Time to open a bottle of wine!

Anyone on here please have a link for fitting a towbar to my e350 2011, and which doesn't require removing or cutting the rear bumper, also which wiring that doesn't require programming by MB.
Thanks all.

You need to remove the bumper on pretty much all Mercedes to fit a towbar, as they replace the rear crash beam. You can go old fashioned and just fit universal wiring with a bypass which won't need coding, but a dedicated kit is best..
