Hi

My local pound shop has these for £5.99 whereas when they first came out they were around £20+

As I live in a hard water area I bought and tried one - well just to be able to rinse off without the water spotting was great so i went back and bought a box of 8 filters @0.99p each....

If anyone is interested they are at the pound shop - Stratton St. Margaret opposite Sainsbury's - Swindon
:bannana:

Not sure why you were in the pound shop anyway, but a good find!

I've tried these and they're not bad - a bit fiddly so bought an Aquagleam instead.

Trust a Scot.....!!

How much longer? I have a box of 8 filters for £7.92 add that to the original £5.99 and thats £13.91....and will last me years...

But I admit it aint as nice looking............:D

I think a flash filter lasts for 5 washes - though at that price they're good value. The only issue is that it comes out of the gun at no real pressure.

The Aquagleam will last for about 60 - 80 washes depending on how hard the water is.

it says 10 washes - so works out cheaper - BUT I daresay it will break before then ...lol:D

I use this Flash car wash kit to avoid the hard water marks and it works really well - but it's been obsoleted and I could not get replacement filters anywhere. (not near a pound saver) Finally sourced some on ebay. So stock up if you like the system.

Cheers my place has shelves of them - so I think I'll pop down and get another box ....

Barry - what did you pay in ebay -- here they are .99p each

oh i didnt know it has been obsoleted?? has it??

I paid £12 + £10 postage for a box of eight !
They are definitely obsolete, I phoned Flash cust care to check and they confirmed.

Yes, I thought about that till I checked on ebay and there were lots of sellers.

It's also available in the USA under the Mr. Kleen brand.
