Hey Steve :thumb:
Thanks for your kind words.

Yes, I'm really pleased with them.
As I said, I'm used to seeing multi-spokes on my car, so I'm still adjusting to the different style, but I am warming to them very quickly!

Yes, the valve design is cool. A nice touch.
I also like the design of the centre caps too. And the fact that they're also aluminium and finished to match the wheels.

Just seen this thread, wow they look great!

I'd be terrified to drive them in case of kerbing :)

Great looking Rash, those Michelin's just finish the wheels off.

A photo of the rear to see how those 10" look.

Hey Peter :thumb:

Yes, I agree with you about the Michelin's.
They seem to have rounder, smoother shoulders which do finish the wheels off nicely.

I will get a rear shot of the wheels as soon as I can.

Forgot to take one in all my excitement! lol

Wow, to me that has actually transformed the looks of your car compared to before with your previous alloys. This looks a lot more butch! Incredible wheels mate, looks goergous.

You could jack the rear of the car up and push the rear wheel up with a trolly jack to see how much clearance you have once its all the way in the arch. The natural camber may just tuck it into the arch without it touching the wheel arch. If theres no rubbing, then it'll allow you to lower your car a little more :)

Mean machine though.. would love to have a ride in it one day! :)

looking good Rash ... when those H&R`s going in?

Hey bud,

Yes, these wheels have certainly changed the car's image.
Amazing what a difference a set of wheels makes, eh.

I'm very happy with them. Relieved too.. Relieved that they arrived in perfect condition and also relieved that they were what I expected and more!
I was buying them blind to a certain degree so I was never going to know how they really looked until I got them in my hands.

I've been studying the rear tyres and where they sit in relation to the arches.
I'm hoping they'll be ok.
They're pretty much in line with where my old tyres sat and I didn't get any rubbing with those.
There were lots of factors involved: wheel width, offsets, spoke design (regarding calipers clearene), tyre width and tyre shoulder.
I was also using 10mm spacers with my Mandrus rims in order to clear the calipers at the rear.
I've done away with the spacers now as I don't need them with the new wheels.

So although the new wheels are wider and I have a wider tyre, I calculated that the new wheels and tyres should be pretty much where my old wheels and tyres sat.

I'll see how I get in. I reckon I'll be ok.

Thanks for your kind words mate, much appreciated.

Lol... I was expecting your jibber jabber :D

Decided not to lower it.
It really doesn't need it.

The only time ANY car looks like it need lowering is when it's parked next to yours!:D

Besides, I worked out that if I did lower it, a section of the exhaust near the front would be 3.5" of the floor
I'd love to lower it just a touch, but that would just be asking for trouble.

Benz drives like a dream... Let's not make it a nightmare....Focker! lol :D

Thanks for your compliments on the wheels, bud :thumb:

Wheels look great Rash, and a great article in Mercedes owner mag this month, which i am reading while having my lunch! Lol!

Hey bud!
Hope you are well.
Thanks for your kind words. :thumb:

The article!
I forgot all about that!
I though they would have at least sent me a copy!

I hope they wrote nice things!
I think it was just going to be a small, summarised feature.. nothing much.

I'll try and get a copy somehow.
