Forged wheels

Rash, they look amazing mate really well done on a beautiful ride. As far as lowering goes, as long as you've got 8-10cm clearance at the front you'll be fine ;)

Lol, you guys!

Nab,

The section of exhaust in question is the first 2-3 feet from the primary cats.
So from just behind the front wheels, backwards about 2-3 feet.

I seriously believe I will end up catching it on speed bumps.

I believe speed bumps are anything from 3-4inches tall.

And I think speed HUMPS would give me even more trouble too.

It would look nice with a small drop but I really don't think it's worth the risk.

With the exhaust only 3.5 inches off the floor, I reckon I'll end up caining it immediately
Considering I've just had a new exhaust system made, I really don't want to take the risk.
It'll only take one speed bump and it'll be game over

Don,

Stop encouraging Alps and Paul! lol :D

When you see it in person, I think you'll agree it looks fine as it is.

Thanks for your kind words about the wheels, guys

keep height as it is .. looks perfect.

too low and it starts to look a little bit Vauxhall Nova.

and with a 6.3 V8, you really don't need to try too hard.

Less is more :thumb:

I've always found it hard to leave a car alone and resist modding etc, but I have to say that I am with you on this one.

When you see the car in person, it really does look fine as it is.
The gap between the tyre and arch is nice and consistent all the way round the arch (I don't really like it when you have a small gap at the top of the tyre that widens as you trace down the side of the arches) and as I said before, the Michelin's seem to have filled the arch gap alittle. Not by much but enough to have made a difference.
Car looks good.

Lowering it will only create problems.

Wheels look fantastic Rash, thinking they are going to look even better in the flesh:thumb: Look forward to seeing them at a meet sometime soon.

Looks great dude! Everyone has said all I wanted to say ;) I think the car looks nice as it is, no lowering needed :P

or does it?????

Wheels are amazing, truly amazing!!... However I kinda agree with the guys saying to go lower, I think a small drop would really compliment the car, 15/20mm would be good!!

Lol!!! :D:D

Pack it in guys! :doh::D

Ricky, good to hear from you bud.. It's been ages since we last got together :(
Thanks for your kind words about the wheels :thumb:

We'll definitely get together soon.

Don, good to hear from you too!

And stop encouraging the like of Alps and his low-low gang :D

We'll definitely catch up soon too!

M2287,

Good to hear from you again :thumb:
Thanks to you too, for your kind words, very much appreciated :thumb:

When you guys see the car in the flesh, I really do think you'll agree that it doesn't really need a drop.

It's you guys with the decked rides that notice arch gaps more than everyone else.

But the car really does sit nicely and I was pleased with the way it sits after taking it for a spin last night when the suspension had settled after swapping the wheels.

Just taken the wheels off again and put my old ones back on ready for the service and MOT on Thursday.

Going to spend the next couple of evenings waxing the BC wheels some more.

Then they'll go back on the car on Thursday evening and then I'm ready to riiiide!

Lol

:D

OK I could not resist, not perfect quality but only took a couple of minutes.

Feast your eyes on the next post Rashman!
