Found some great W203 Mods

Webasto heater's nice.

I dread to think how much that lot set him back in parts alone. Cap off to him though it's a nice car, unique although subtle. Nice.

Some fascinating mods there, not seen them before on a W203

I want the CLK cluster...... :D

To me the CLK cluster looks like its the right one for the car, the half ****d facelift version looks crap compared to some of the other MB clusters. This mod brings the car right up to the modern look of the cluster, infact its one of my favourite W204 features.

Thanks for the link Andy. Have not seen that before. CLK cluster looks so good!!
Any one hazard a guess the labour charge for fitting??

I reckon an hour would do it, although you have to be looking around 500 for the cluster from a stealer.

Mounting frame £124.63

Sooo tempting although having just spent 20k buying the car, i cant really justify 550 on a mod also add to the fact i want to install IPOD integration shortly.

I shall wait 3 months until the car is out of warranty

Aaaarrrgggghhh! Just realised my dash is slighly different shape (2003 model). Would mean changing the whole cowl as well ???

Bugger!

the clk cluster is very nice,3 months or less and greg will have it

That's Sunil's car, this guy seriously know's his stuff. He's been an inspiration to me as our cars started out pretty much the same. He's become Americas answer to Steve (MBenzNL).
