Fuel Leak W211

Well my car has been in the dealers for 2 days now and they still haven't got the part. They 'hope' to have it in tomorrow. Still gave them a list of other things they can be looking at whilst waiting!

Hope they hurry up because I miss it! The Ford Fusion National gave me is poo!

Hi Richard,
Is your car just waiting for the fuel pipe or is it having any of the many 211 modifications? Cars can be at the dealership for as long as three or four days if they need a large number of these so called 'upgrades'.

Good luck,
John

Hi John,

Most of the upgrades/modifications were done at the last service which wasn't long ago. They are however fitting a new passenger side mirror mechanism (as it sticks in sometimes) and a new control gateway (SAM?) which they said they found faulty during their investigations. They are waiting for these parts to arrive with the fuel line so I think the car is just sitting there waiting!
Richard.

I'm going to the dealers tomorrow to meet a new sales person "female" so I'll look out for your car.
Who are you dealing with up there BTW

It should be there somewhere, hopefully not in too many bits! I'm dealing with Noel who is always very helpfull whenever I take the car in.

I am so glad i ve kept my old w202 i could not nor would not put up with mbz main agents taking so long and needing 2 or 3 attempts to fix simple jobs.
Pipe length the problem ummm so why not keep 10 ft in the van
because they know the plastic clips are sub standard in that the heat from the engine causes the plastic to go brittle and thus snap when taken a part cheap products on an expensive car
when will mbz treat the customers with respect and admit problems my drive was a mess because of a fuel loss whilst i was on hols for 3 weeks.
and i still had to wait for the new grey coloured o rings which are fuel resistant and heat resistant

Noel's ok but a bit poofy if you know what I mean. I usually deal with either Richard or the gorgeous Rachel, she loves me, but I can't deal with the big South African bloke. He annoyed me so much the other month I told him to F-Off and now he won't even look at me when I'm up there, shame :D

Didn't see your car but did get to sit in a lovely CLS500.
