Fuel Service through Halfords, worth the £35?

Halfords have an offer "MOTs only £27.42 Save 50% rrp £54.85" but within the offer there are additional offers which one is called "fuel cleaning" for £35.
I remember Wheeler Dealers doing this on one of their cars using a hired machine and it lowered the emmisions by quite a bit.

I'm just wandering if anyone has tried this and is it worth it?

If you're refering to changing a bulb, I'm sure all their stores offer the service. We have a small Halfords locally (and a big one about 3 miles away) and I've seen the staff from the small one changing wiper blades and bulbs. (Or at least trying to. I didn't hang around too long).

Search on this forum (or Google) these two words : TerraClean and PowerBoost - and you'll find some interesting discussions. I suspect that Halfords use TerraClean or similar.

And, if you are concerned about emissions, search also for CataClean.

Anyway, Halfords changed the battery on my Renault for a fiver, which I thought was rather good value...
