Gave the E55 Bus a clean yesterday

Been raining here since 5pm and there is no chance of cleaning the car for MSL tomorrow:doh: Oh well.
Supposed to be fine tomorrow though.

Yeah been raining here for a while too. I keep checking the forecast and it looks good tomorrow, so hopefully roads will have dried up a bit for our journey up to MSL.

See you tomorrow, will be good to meet:thumb:

Looks like all the rain will finish overnight and roads will hopefully be dry :thumb:

It's funny guys I was looking online at car covers earlier to help keep it dry and dust free.

Unfortunately my car lives on my drive as I don't have a garage and I would love to find a suitable way of protecting it. I can't convince myself that a cover is a good idea though as my car is used daily, but it would have been great lately with all my neighbours building work going on and now the poxy rain!

A cover that touches the car is a very bad idea as any dust or grit on the paintwork when you put the cover on will cause scratching.

Google "carcoon" for a possible solution.

What a stunning e55, Great wheels too, job well done looks totally spot on :)

Yep, I live on a main road with only driveway parking. It hurts to see the road dust build up during the days I'm not using the car.
Those car covers look a good idea but in reality I think would damage the paintwork.

That was exactly my thoughts on car covers which is why I can't bring myself to think it's a good idea. I have looked at those carcoons, they look good but my drive is too tight to accommodate it and also it would probably look a bit odd dominating the front of the house:dk: If I had more space that is definitely what I would opt for though.

seriously if that was my car id take the front of the house out put a lintle in and use the front room as a Garage lol. :)

Haha - to be honest I have thought long term if I can get finances sorted about trying to buy my neighbours bungalow and doing exactly that:D

I knew someone who lived in Biggin Hill who did that 40-odd years ago. The planning authority had a conniption fit - especially as they'd turned down his application to build a garage on the plot 6 months earlier :D
