Done a search but don't seem to be able to find the info I need. Went down to MB Canary Wharf and the guy at the parts dept didn't have a clue! This is what I managed to get from him:

MA1402710060 Seal Ring
MA1402710080 Gasket
MN07603010112 Seal Ring
MA1402770095 Oil Filter
MA0019892103/10 Transmission Oil

Total Cost: £80.73

I mentioned the tamper evident seal and he scratched his head and went to ask one of the workshop guys, who also didn't know what I was on about! So my question is, does anyone have the part number for the "Tamper Evident Seal" and do I have everything else to perform the change?

On another note, don't think I will be taking my car there for any work, they don't exactly inspire confidence!

tamper proof seal

The seal has a #on it A140 991 00 55
I hope this helps

Mambo, the tamper proof 'pin' as they call it is approx 25p so worth getting a couple

Mambo, if you're not happy with your service at canary wharf, go in and ask to speak to dave wheatley... ;) he is the Area manager for numerous parts departments in london, i'm sure he now resides mainly at canary wharf.

P.S. dont tell him i sent you...haha!

The part numbers are correct.

Don't worry about the tamper evident pin, my dealer didnt.

I wouldnt worry about the tamper evident pin regarding 'hiding evidence of tampering' however I would ensure you use a pin because but it is the pin that secures the cap to the dipstick tube and you probably wouldn't want that to fall off - hence buy a couple!

In fact I use the 'broken' pin to secure my cap and it is fine so far . . .
