Warning ! We recently parked at The Flying Scot car park in Paisley, just 2/3 mins from Glasgow airport, when we returned, last Friday evening, I noticed that the front number plate was broken and part of the bumper above number plate has, big thick roundish chip / scratch. It looks very much like a towbar/ball kinda bash, the number plate has a big round towbar/ball shaped bash.
I immediately called them, and a woman came down to see us where we were parked, and immediately sprung to thier defence, with hands on hips and in the broadest Scottish slang, says " that didnae happin here" I said it could only have happened here, anyway, as it turned out, this woman said she was the owner, and she says that "theres nae wye am pyin for that".
There was not even a hint of an appology, or even that she would look into it, she was extremely rude, and ignorant, and NOT customer focused / friendly - AT ALL.
Un-known to me at the time of booking, it is one of these car parks where you leave your car key, and they move the car around, as it happens ours had been moved 3 times from where we parked it when we arrived. This multi moving is bound to increase incidents like this ! The driver who did this, will without doubt know that he/she did it, as the size and depth of the bash is rather big ! There was another car parked a couple of cars down from ours with its drivers door mirror hanging off, I'd wager money on it that it was NOT like that when the owner left it, and they or "she" will have the same reaction to the owner when he / she returns and complains about it.
I have parked at airport car parks quite a few times, once at Glasgow, (which is where I thought I was going back to) and 3 times at Newcastle and each of these times you park your own car and take key with you, had I known this one was a "leave your key" kind of place, I would NOT have parked there !!
So the moral of my moan is, DONT park at The Flying Scott car park in Paisley near Glasgow airport
