GLK for UK by 2010?

By 2010 I would imagine that demand for SUV's will be in free-fall.

I'm sure it would sell well if MB pitched it at US pricing (under $40K) but at typical UK pricing it'll just look too expensive.

VW Tiguan is doing quite well apparently - and there's a diesel auto.

Yes as SUVs exist now, but Land Rover are looking at creating their greenest car yet (not that hard I grant you) with hybrid etc. The LRX - or Freelander Sport as they're thinking, will be Tiguan sized.

Coyote Ugly

Yes,
They(Mercedes) thinks they are going to push that "Gawd Awful" looking
GLK off on us in the U.S. with the 320CDI motor (instead of the 220CDI).
At about 20,000 L.
'Cannot wish them any good luck...Stylist should move back to Matamoros.

Hmmmm, sorry, LRX walks all over it in concept form....I hope they don't water it down too much. GLK quite awkward looking, no?

That would be excellent if they engineer the GLK for right-hand drive. Not because I like the GLK (I have eyes, you know :D). No, it would be excellent because it would mean at long last that we could get a 4x4 C-class. :bannana:
