I just don`t understand this lot AMG front bumper for sale - Benzworld.org - Mercedes-Benz Discussion Forum Got the bumper brand new but since is hard to find a buyer in UK,i thought i`ll give it a go there and i`m not trying to rip off or cheat anyone

I am always astonished that people stick their ore in on such a subject. The wine forum I frequent has a simple policy on sales offered by board members - if you don't like the price, don't buy and don't comment, it's none of your business.

What a moron, and being a moderator too. Pretty shameful that really. Take the ad out and relist elsewhere, and the probable comparable body mods he's talking about will most likely be rip-offs anyway, so listing sub-standard goods for premium prices, who's ripping who. Well done and stick to your guns.

You'll find that people take you more seriously if you spend time typing your advert correctly and using correct punctuation. Presentation is everything when you're trying to sell something of that value. That said they do come across as juvenile.

Presentation is nothing, you could type up an ad for the Venus De Milo in gutter arabic and it would still be a chance to buy something you can't find otherwise.

I'd like to know how much effort the mod put into finding an identical item for sale, funny that he comes back with various side skirts and rear bumpers on the other side of the world and has to then use them as PROOF, I TELL YOU that you are obviously overcharging..

You can smell the ulterior motive a mile away..

Since he lists his location as Kanagawa-Ken Japan I'd say he didn't put a hell of a lot of effort into it at all. He probably knows where to look for that kind of stuff & clicked his mouse a couple of times.

It's a US based forum with a huge worldwide membership - Topics: 384,645, Posts: 3,101,243, Members: 270,159 - & it's different from this forum. Your choice whether you take it or leave it.

Was that not a response? (Since at this bargain price you must be getting bombed with PM's for your bumper I think this thread is better off deleted.)
I`ve never mention about a bargain though,on the first post i did say it might not be cheap

We'll agree to disagree then - but given I've sold every car I've owned for the same or more money than I paid for it I'll stick to my principles thanks .

Selling something vs competition is one thing, selling a scarce item to a discerning audience is another - in the case of the latter, presentation is almost nothing.
