As an antithetical to the 'ugly car' thread, thought I'd inject a bit of positivity and ask for people's opinions on good looking cars...

Antithetical at 11.15pm .

I'll have some of what you're on...

Personally I'm rather taken by the Nissan Juke myself :thumb:.

Or for something almost as good looking as the 250 SWB but more suited to modern driving:

Lamboghini Aventador.... every other sports car is just a half-measure.

If you're buying a flashy car....make sure it's flashy!

These wholehearted but practical commitments to new methods of car propulsion and construction in time will come to be regarded in the same way as the first Impressionists were to the Académie des Beaux-Arts.

This beast - Audi RS7

Mercedes 250 S Auto Saloon 1967

Hi Guys

I see a lot of you seem to know what your talking about. I have a question what do you think?

I have Mercedes benz 250 S 1967 saloon in silver only like 50000 miles on the clock Original. Grandad's car (lovely thing) in really good condition but would probably need some TLC not too much as the body work has all be done and engine runs like a dream but just a clean up here and there.

How much would you say this is worth. any help would be nice as I cannot find one on the net. Thanks.

This model has yet to acquire iconic status although rarity of the remaining models is beginning to firm up values. Prices are sensitive to engine gearbox combinations with several engine/gearbox changes over the lifetime of the model. An original car that's sound bodywise --and they can have major rust problems not immediately obvious--- ball park figure £5,000 to £7,500 The coupes command slightly higher prices. In the end its worth what someone is prepared to pay for it at any particular time . Is it RHD or LHD ? goes to potential market. Post up a few pictures and a description in the forum "for sale" section and test the market. Notice posting in that section of the forum precludes comments and requires 30 posts as a forum member irrc.
