OK, Goodwood have released dates and it is not good:

30/03 - Easter Saturday, 105db
02/04 - Tuesday but it is only £250, 105db
24/08 - August Bank Holiday Saturday, 105db
21/09 - 98db
09/11 - 98db
07/12 - 105db

I am pretty gutted they have not released any other dates, although they say they may do in the next month or so.

Thanks for your update here Simon, yes not overly a good selection to choose from, but thats Goodwood as we know from our previous years.
I can go on any of these dates myself, although the Tuesday date is a little negative, but could go if a group wants that date. From what the other interested guys previously raised, date is going to be an issue, Lagerlout favours April ish, Acej, CSR and Sean I recall favour a June ish date, it appears we have 2 dates for March/April and 2 dates Aug/Sept to select from, albeit the September date is a 98DB day, is that a 40 car day? I would,nt be keen on any later in the year myself, as hopefully we will get onto the Eve Appeal day in November for another day out anyway.
What ever day is choosen, as you already appreciate, we really need to get paid up and booked into that date ASAP, to make sure we all get into the event. See what the other guys comments are.

24/08 or 7/12 works for me. Not keen on Dec date as weather could be terrible.

Gents,

I can make 2/4, 24/8 and 21/9, But i would need to check the others as two were June onwards and would need the 105db anyway.

I am also happy to go a few times

Had a txt from GSEracing (Gary) this morning, he came to the Brighton day last year, in his SLK55, he is saying him and a friend have booked onto the 2nd April day, not too sure of that day myself, its getting close to another event, but would go if a few of you other guys were up for it.

Happy to chuck my hat into the ring for this year. No holiday commitments at the moment and midweek is probably OK as I've changed jobs and the new company are much more flexible.

Would prefer a summer date as we're more likely to get some decent weather (or not, as the case may be ). Warm dry tarmac is much more fun!

I may also be able to drum up a couple of other interested parties if we do nail down a date.

Anyway, let's hope it goes ahead as it would be good to catch up with you again.

Morning all. I really wanted to do 2/4 but when i called to book the guy told me it was an open track testing day for race cars and a race license is required.

I dont have a preference on when we go, i just want to go! Other than 31st May being my brothers wedding so will need to keep that clear.

I will follow this thread for a date based decison but i have no holiday plans for the year.
