mate put me down as a strong potential if its the 1st June I should have my car way before then. Only problem is I won't be able to pay till the end of March if this is not a problem then I should be good to go.
Spoke to Goodwood this morning, afraid June 1st has gone as an exclusive booking, manufacturer has taken it. Next open date after this on a Saturday, is October.
Thoughts anyone???,
personally, thinking lets get the base core of us to agree when we can go, and get booked up on a date, and just go on a Goodwood organised day, at least we get tea and coffee for our money, LOL.
The limited time we have selecting a date is made ackward due to the slow response of some of the parties here.

What about Easter Saturday (30th March)? I can do that day, I appreciate it is Easter but I cannot really wait until August and then have a glut of trackdays around that period.

that's the best plan ..
I have just re rung goodwood, this is what they have just told me, only enquired about Saturday dates, its not good.
2nd March 10 full spaces, 10 morning 5 PM spaces
30th March 10 full spaces and 5 PM spaces.
24th August 22 full spaces 7 AM spaces and 6 PM spaces
I did not push any dates thereafter. basically, if its correct what they have told me here, its a totally wash out.
Weather they releash other dates, who knows!
If anyones up for a weekday, lots more oppoutunity.
Am speaking with Simon tonight, to regards what we ourselves are going to do, if anyone else is up for a short notice trackday, speak up now, as Simon and myself will probaly book something shortly, and just go.

Well after much discussion, Ricky & I have bitten the bullit and booked to go on Saturday 30th March 2013.
I appreciate this date will sadly exclude some interested people, but given the limited choice we did not want to be waiting until August to get out on track.
There are currently 8 places left for the full day, and 5 for the PM slot.
It would be great to see as many forum member as possible there, although I appreciate that it is the Easter weekend.

Damn,
Probably too soon for me. The Fiat needs tax and insurance this month and also a service/cambelt which will gobble up the motoring budget. The SLK really needs new discs/pads before I take it out on the track again (last of the late brakers into Woodcote
). I'll go and shake the piggy bank..Cheers,

Can't do that date. Oh well. I will book a few around the place and let you know the dates if anyone wants to come with. I'll be doing a few this year.
Neil, sorry it does not fit in mate, all a bit of a mess really, but thats Goodwood for you, major recession on, and GW is virtually fully booked again !
Keep us in touch if you book into another event, moreso Goodwood, I can quite often come down and spectate at last minute, love to see 'spike' out there again.
PS: I take it your not able to do the Vmax event? hope your not on holiday again! more holidays than Sean! Catch up soon, plus Chelts on shortly, on holiday myself that week.

Thats great S. thanks for sorting that out mate, prehaps not an ideal situation we find ourselves in, but if you want to trackday, need to book it up, as said this afternoon, send details to me, look forward to it. Have sent CSR and Maff a mail, albeit not sure what their up to on this date.
