Yeah its very popular mod.

You also need the CLK bonnet latch, and grille support.

Hi Grovsie31. Are you still getting rid of that grille? Not sure if you got or saw my email. Cheers.

Yes mate, got the email, been a bit busy to take any snaps, ill get some sent to you by tomorrow. its just a normal facelift W209 CLK grille, exactly the same as the 1 on the car with 3 slats.

So, how does it compare to your old C55?

Should bring it to Santa pod next year:D

Love it. To be honest since ive had it Joe, its done nothing but rain. It does feel a little quicker, and its better in the corners.

Same here. Bloody rain rain rain. Every single day, it rains. The rears just spin up everywhere.

This one has better traction than my previous one, its either the suspension helping or the tyres are better.

A bit of both, I did notice better traction when I fitted the Coilovers and of course a rwd car with that much power will no doubt depend on decent tyres too.

Out of interest what coilovers are on it?

The silver one had Michelin Pilot super sports, which I thought were one of the best tyres around, they were good in the dry, but these continentals are a lot better in the wet/damp.
