Thought I'd pass this little tip on (to get my feedback profile enhanced (nudge nudge wink wink) ;) .....
My interior is the anthracite black and there was a pretty big scratch on the passenger side of the centre console. It is deep and so showed up as whitish on the black background. When Chipsaway were looking at my door scratch I asked them if they would be able to touch up the interior scratch as well.
"Can't be done I'm afraid - get a whole new side panel".
Anyway I had a go myself. You know those very tiny tins of paint (can't remember the name - is it "Umbrol" or something ?) you get in craft shops - well I got two tins of that. One matt grey and one matt black. I also bought a very small artists brush. I mixed 3 to 4 parts of grey to one part black and very carefully applied it to the scratch. Then I sort of buffed the paint in with the brush by dabbinbg the brush over the paint. Result ? Can't see the scratch at all !!! Cost ? £1.15 each for the paint and 69p for the brush - total of £2.99 !!!

Good tip. Well done.

I've managed to remove scratches from leather furniture myself with good old shoe polish. I bought a leather covered coffee table from an expensive shop for very little money as it had an almighty scratch right across it. One hour later at home with a cloth and some dark tan shoe polish and the scratch was gone. :)

I had a few white spots on the black leather seats in my car, fixed them with a permanent black marker, repairs totally invisible :) . Also works on shoes ;)

Also works on Stone Chips on a black car!

I had a similar thing on my Peugeot 406 coupe, (and I'm sorry to say, for all the hoardes of you who wanted to buy it, that I sold it to somebody who appreciates Gallic flair ;) )

When I bought it, it had some white spots on the driver's seat, and the leather door card. They promised to sort this by the time I collected the car. They also used a black permanent marker. Result? Purplish spots AND A SMILEY FACE!!! on my seat. I can only assume that it looked black when they were doing it, but dried slighly lighter. Cost them £700 in the end, cos I demanded a new seat and door card.

Moral? Test on an inconspicuous area first.
