GTG in Wiltshire

If there is an appetite for a GTG in the South next summer I would be happy to offer our place as a meeting point. In its favour is plenty of space for vehicles (30 to 40), great views, 2 or 3 local pubs doing good food, some excellent roads across Salisbury Plain where you can enjoy driving. Being new here I don't wish to cut across existing arrangements etc but if there is interest please do come back to me.

ok the national do is late June so would folks fancy early June or Mid July before schools break up, or are kids not an issue here and August is possible, would it be a Saturday or a Sunday? Out of interest what sort of format do these things take? Fairly flexible from our perspective.

Speaking as a farmer (of sorts) 2009 was pretty good and the 5th warmest on record so i'm not grumbling. True the barbecue summer was so so wrong.

We are 4 miles south of Devizes on the A360 we run a vineyard and orchard hence the space for parking etc.

Excuse the ignorance but roughly how far is Devizes from Ramsbury (Marlborough)?

No more than 25 - 30 mins (10 miles ish)

ok as i've been blown away by suggested dates, i'll suggest one, 25th July 2010 starting at 11.30am, lunch could be a; at the Churchill Pub in the village or a; a BBQ with some cider or apple juice for the non drinkers?
