Guess the repair costs quiz....

Any word, have you got it repaired yet? How does it look?

Yep, got the car back a week or so ago. Work is excellent and you really can't tell the difference.

Nothing was repaired, all was replaced so no damage coverup's as such. Only thing they forgot was the V8 badge on one side, but they soon stuck another one on after I noticed.

Done a deal and got the excess down to £500 too which was handy.

I sit at roundabouts much longer now! :)

Good to hear it's fixed. I did the same to an old company car (406) a few years back at a roundabout. My friend swears he could see the Fiesta I hit lifted off the ground but I now treat junctions with a lot more thought now.

I nearly shunted into the back of a laguna yesterday morning in exactly the same situation, dozy driver wasn't for setting off even with an empty roundabout but they edged forward a bit and while I was looking for oncoming cars I saw the movement out of the corner of my eye and took that to mean they had set off. Pressed the gas pedal as I turned around to look back at them, they'd only gone about 6 inches and stopped again! Brakes applied, stopped fairly short of them but it still had my heart pounding pretty hard!

I know what you mean about getting your heart pounding fast - yesterday evening I accidentally hit the accelerator of the 645I instead of the brake when trying to slow down as car in front came to a sudden stop - I managed to steer clear on to the other side of the road (luckily no on comming traffic otherwise therd could have been a head on collison... I was lucky as there was no way that I would have been able to brake in time after accidentally hitting the accelerator and was bound to shunt the car in front.
