Hacked email account - "www.niyacn.com" email

Do you have the email /facebook password cached in your Browser?

No idea, I doubt Yahoo would do that though? And if it did, surely both my account and Mrs BTB's would have been accessed (since we're using the same browser on the same PC to access our Yahoo mail).

Yahoo Uk is rather an old style webmail client and their servers are the same as 2002 using Windows Server 2003 which is hackable. Yahoo Germany was moved to bsd/linux based servers and their webmail clients are more stable. I would advise anyone not to use yahoo/hotmail for personal stuff( banking, sensitive data ).
There so many scripts/hacks online which allows to hack these emails. A yahoo email client is easily hacked within 2 minutes. I personally use a private webmail. You can get these really cheap on the net.
Hotmail is under a serious flaw at the moment. Due to a high demand of new domains , most of the providers are trying to cope with new style ( ipv4 to ipv6 ) .
Be safe online !

While I agree W2K3 is "hackable" so is any other operating system... but that's not the point of my post...

I'm just curious as to these "scripts" that "hack" Hotmail/Yahoo (I'm assuming we're speaking of Windows Live; the new name for hotmail) servers...

I've got the known bug lis for W2k3 - and there doesn't appear to be anything critically flawed that doesn't have a patch... and both MS and yahoo would certainly have a defined patch policy...

As I tried saying before (and others) - attacking the servers is MUCH harder than attacking either the client or the authentication system... I would be really quite interested in seeing anything that a script-kiddie could run to get into such a system...

Yahoo UK were implementing various "server upgrades" a few months ago, btw.

The client is always the server owner and he`ll never be attacked...Any hacker would attack a server or network using different methods( do i really have to explain in detail ?:) ) . There is no script-kiddie who would attack such a server. He`d be INSANE! If i send you a picture with my car and include in that pisture a small vuln( shall we say 2kb coded at 128mb)...will your A/V Suite detect it ? NEVER !!! I can even make it as .pdf, .tif and any other :)
Spinal> Question: Ever tried to change your localhost ? :)
And remember: Anything is possible! If Unix is not safe ...Windows is not safe...

Regards
