Heated Drivers Seat

Gentlemen
Would you give me some advice on how to restore the heating to a seat.
The door panel switch appears to work OK in that the 1 or 2 sets of lights operate when switched. But the seat stays cold and my VoltMeter shows only 2volts are reaching the seat. Is there some sort of resistor in the switch that I can replace?

The door panel switch seems towork OK in as much that the lights work when operated. But my voltmeter show that only 2volts are reaching the seat. Is there some sort of resistor in the switch that I can replace to restore the current flow?

Not sure about the CL but in most MBs the heating element is separate to the seat cover, and you can use aftermarket ones so the cost isn't too bad. Worth remembering if power is actually getting to the element.
