HELP - Motor Trader Advice needed

I have no problem with the advice given on this thread. Your soldier analogy doesn't work as there has been many differing views. It is all much appreciated. However when I see comments like 'Dealer should be named and praised for his attitude.....' I feel I must redress the balance.

I have learnt not to trust Car Dealers from this episode and will in future have any car independently inspected (probably by my local Indy who I rate very highly). In hindsight it was naive of me to be so trusting.
NEVER, NEVER, never trust a car dealer. I say this with the greatest of respect to everyone here but what they might descibe as a mint condition car in pristine condition might perhaps not be the same flavoured mints as I am used to.

When a sales person describes a car, then let the words go over your head whilst you use your eyes, ears, and nose to inspect your intended purchase.

Estate agents, car sales person or double glazing seller :)

Fundamentally, good advice! :) But please!! Estate Agents on the same level as motor traders!!!! Ugh!!! :D
