Help needed, Just had an accident...

Last night on ma way home from seeing a friend, the car in front of me suddenly did a uturn and now my beautiful SL is well bashed....

questions: The cars needs to be fixed but I want it done by mercedes as all the computers seem to be going wonky...

Anyone know any reputable dealers that could fix the car...

Damages: passenger side headlights, front end panel, door, wing mirror, rear panel dent, drivers window button would not go up or down, roll bar deployed and would not go down...

Sorry to hear that and hope that you are ok? Mercedes Benz Beckenham will probabaly direct you to Tionbridge Coach Works who are authoirised repairers for Rolls Royce , Bentley , Astonn Martin etc etc but I would expect your insurer will want to be involved in the choice of repairer first? Good luck.

Thanks mate, I have just spoken to them and they said the repairers would contact me. I also told my insurance that only mercedes would be repairing my car as the various computers and speaking already...

Brentord is part of the same group as Dartford and Beckenham as far as I am aware from my dealings on rusty wheel arches. May not mean it actually ends up there though or does it?

Brentford's MB retail's bodyshop, so that's where (most) end up.

Holy shyte, the recovery truck would be with me in 1hr, can I just reject it? Is it not better for mb dealer to fix the car because of things like the roof and electronics?

Ring the insurance company and tell them you want it repaired elsewhere.

You may as well wait for the assessor to arrive anyway, because if it goes into MB it may well get written off.

Howard will tell you about the size of a Brentford estimate compared with a normal (good) bodyshop estimate...
