Thats a good result and not the end of the world, nice one![]()
Hhhm, MB weren't prepared to do anything re the labour costs, so it's going to be £670 all in. The local guys gave 20% off the labour and 10% of the parts.
Ah well.

, and he said that they were more then likely from Sweden or Denmark and aren't the same!!! WTF!![]()
If they were from Sweden they would be very good parts,
shame they did not mention Tim-Buck-too
The cars now done 42K miles, had all of its servicing done my MB and is just over 3 years old.

I think you need to push MB harder given the age and mileage of your car. It's unusual for them to come back without any contribution.
I think you would be best to call Customer Services directly - and do it ASAP before the dealer invoices for the work.
Make it clear that you need to get the issue resolved ASAP as the car is in the workshop. I don't have the phone number handy but someone is sure to have.
Good luck.
So, many thanks prompting me on this! The saga continues.
I called MB Customer Services and explained the situation and asked why they were not prepared to make a contribution. From the roundabout way that they responded, I do not believe that MB Tonbridge even called them and requested anything! They're calling Tonbridge now and will call me back with an update. Maybe something good might come of it!
