Hi guys, i wonder if anyone can help me (w211 lights issue)

Hi guys, I wonder if anyone can help me out here, I've been hunting and hunting through various forums to try find an answer but i cant seem to make heads or tails of it, I have recently acquired E-class 54 plate w211 240 cdi, but i have an issue, the passenger side headlight (hi and lo) and sidelight and fog all dont work. The drivers side is fine. The headlight bulbs are halogen not xenon. Most posts on the forums relate to xenons and flickering/ballasts and igniters but that is no good for me as they're halogen.
Is this a common fault? Is there some common connection that i can trace back to? The bulbs were fine on one day, then stopped working the next, then they were fine again, then they stopped working all together? I checked the filaments in the headlight and sidelight bulband they're OK so i would assume its wiring, connectors, fuse, or SAMs fault. Anyone able to offer any assistance/guidance it would be MUCH appreciated.

Likely to be either a sam fault as you say, or more mundane like a loose earth? Get the codes read.....

No.

Firstly check fuses then get it on a Star diag machine.

Change the bulbs, they cost under £5.00.

You cant always see the filament damage especially if its intermittent.

If its not the cure then you have some spare bulbs anyway

Passenger side SAM (N10/11) controls that side lights, check connector there...
