How Do you fit an AUX socket to an AUDIO 20 (2004 C-Class Coupe) ?

Hi,

I recently got a new C-Class Sports Coupe SE and wanted to fit an external audio source. I was wondering if this was possible to fit the cinch socket yourself. The manual mentioned that it is an upgrade option (and it would be located in the glove box) - the words "upgrade option" scared my wallet.

I believe the audio uses optical (but I am not sure)

I was not sure if this was what I needed to get... I was hopping that all that is needed is a simple (cheap) adapter that can be fitted to the back of the audio

Hello, In the spanish forum they made the Aux input for the C class facelifted, It is very cheap and very easy to do, you can check this:
