How manually to check oil level on w203?

Hello MB enthusiasts,
I have recently bought a 2001 C220 w203 car.
I know that the oil level can be checked on the dash board, but I would like to check it manually as well and I have therefore bought a special oil level indicator tool. Long (1 meter) flexible thing.
But where should I insert it in the engine?
