How much will it cost for a set of 4 tyres?

Im planning on getting a set of new tyres for my 17" AMG staggered style II's later this month.
Any idea of the rough cost I Will be looking at for a set of mid-quality tyres? eg, not cheap, not top of the range?

I know its a slightly vauge question, but should I be expecting around £80 or more a corner?

My original 16's (the same style you had) cost me £84 a corner (Avon ZZR's). They were not the cheapest, but certainly not the most expensive. My current 18" AMG's will be a damn sight more, so i would suggest probably looking at 90 odd or more??

Last year I fitted Lassa Impetus Sports to mine. They're made in Turkey and are owned by Bridgestone. Cost £300 for 4, 2 225/45x17 and 2 245/40x17. I was going to put Conti Sport Contact 2s on but noticed that the previous owner had put these on and only lasted 13K miles. Currently I'm at 9K miles and am happy enough with them, still a good bit of tread left.
