How to get a clean exhaust luke Rashmans car

This is a question which I would love to know the answer to! How do I get the inside of my exhaust looking clean? I've tried a bit if elbow grease! But no joy! Anyone got any ideas??? The thread heading should say like rather than luke!! Sorry

Not wishing to hijack the OP's thread (though I've provided an answer), my understanding is a mental health problem.

Judging by the not one, but two open packets and not just a large ashtray, but a bowl being used as one as well, I suspect it's not grease or oil.

Looking at the plastic on the water heater and the microwave door, I'd suggest grease/oil.

Nicotine ingrains plastic surfaces and then makes them brittle. It also rises in warmer, exhaled breath and stains from from roof to floor.

One thing is true - manky *******s.
