Hi
A very common part fitted to most CDI engines that goes wrong frequently.
Please note this is a temporary fix until you can get a replacement part.
Condition: Glow plug light illuminated permanently after glow plug replacement.
Repair: Replace defective glow plugs, determined by MB Star or resistance check with Ohm meter
Glow plug check Procedure: Mercedes Diesel Glow Plug Repair
If the relay is found to be defective you can repair it temporarily.
Cut the sealant away, its very thin.
Carefully open the relay housing.
Solder a 20 amp fuse wire across any blown links.
Reseal the Relay with some silicone and replace the relay asap.
