I've not posted anything like a full review yet, but only comments on specific aspects. My idea was to wait until October and then write a summary of my first 6 months with the C300h.
However I can already tell you that overall I am really pleased with it. There is not anything massively wrong with it, only minor issues. Just to give you an idea, my biggest rant was about a rattling noise coming from the front Burmester speaker, which is hardly a life threatening matter... especially because MB has not done anything about it yet... and I am still here.
As for the engine itself, I love it. The shift from electric to diesel and vice versa is very smooth and with the agility control + optional AirMatic suspension it is like having 3 cars in one. I would be really curious to read about the C350e, as I have been seriously thinking about it for quite some time before deciding to go for the C300h.
Good luck with your purchase, you won't be disappointed at all :-)

Thank you again. I look forward to reading your account in due course :)

I cannot believe COMAND does not have distance to next turn. Even the cheap Sat Nav app on my iPhone has it.

The basic turn by turn Sat Nav in my Avensis also has distance to turn.

Cannot believe this! This is a fundamental requirement of a Sat Nav. It's really useful when you have multiple turnings coming up. Hmmm.

You have a Premium+ package on your car, can you verify?
I won't get my car until December

EDIT/
Ahhh... you haven't got your car yet either!

My feeling is this is one of these devices/facilities which turns out to be a complete gimmick you will never use ,or a facility which you will wonder how you ever did without . I thought the brake hold facility on my car was a bit of an affectation :o--- use it all the time.:thumb:
Its utility is going to increase with car speed obviously. The only way to find out if its really "for you" is to have it onboard to use. :dk:

Thanks for your views all. The ayes have it, the ayes have it :)
My car, which I hope to get next mont, will have the HUD along with.
I have passed the "Freeze Date" so that's it, all done :)

350e - are you buying or leasing ? My car will be at the dealers next Thursday, I have a VIN and Mercedes Me has confirmed the car is known ! I have been dicked about with installing a home charger but should have one fitted just after I get the car - what charger are you going with ?

I think if you don't get it, you wished you had.
