Out of interest, how much would the stealer give you for your E55? I'm 99.9% sold on a C43, but was looking on Autotrader the other day and noticed that E55's were 'coming in' to my price range.

Not sure about a Cobra. For £30K you could get something much more exotic...

More exotic? I don't think I've ever seen a genuine cobra on the road!

Has only 532 miles on the clock.
Not seen anything better for a long while.

technically its a Brabus dealer. Its at medway autos. They have a website. Lots of nice cars there at the mo. I sat in this cobra replica. Sooooo small its ridiculous. Sounds amazing when fired up tho.

Looks good!

Friend of mine has an immaculate original Cobra which he drives regularly - very nice, and you can hear it coming from about 2 miles away!

I still do an eBay search on "V8" sometimes just for fun. I toyed with this sort of stuff (and TVRs) before deciding I needed something that would start when I wanted it to and had a reasonable chance of getting from A to B without bits dropping off! Which is how I ended up with the SL 500.

Buy it, Buy it, Buy it. One of the all time great's also very scarry to drive. Is it the real mcoy?.

Looks good, love the colour and very rare.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH suits you sir. If you do buy it you must promise not to look too smug.

Dax kits are great, I used to race one of their off roaders, I remember when they first started building the cobra replicas, their chassis was streets ahead of everything else and infinitely better than the original. Their kits were good enough to gain the recommendation, "authorisation" and signature of John Tojeiro (opriginal designer of the AC Ace) with up to Jag V12 power - absolutely beautifully engineered and frighteningly fast.

If you are considering a Cobra replica then a Dax is the one to look at.

is it £30k worth? yes it very probably is - I think you need to do a bit more grovelling for Brownie points

Andy
