Yep, my C63 has gone! This is what it looked like this morning after my 2500 mile trip round Europe - I don't think I've ever had a car so filthy before!

I couldn't let the new owner collect it in this state so I did clean it and it was in rather better condition by the time he arrived to take it away from me!

However, I have once again been very impressed by Mercedes Retail - in particular Birmingham Central who have been excellent.

They agreed to loan me a car until mine comes, free of charge, :D and expecting an A-class or similar, I was very pleasantly surprised to be given one of their latest twin-turbo diesel E250 CDI's for a few weeks! They didn't have to loan me a car at all so to get one of these for free is a result.

Admittedly, it's not the most sporting of cars but it's very very refined and comfy so all in all, a pleasant surprise and a nice change (but I bet I'll be hankering after my new C63 after a few days!).

Is it me currently being biased or is this pretty awesome service??

So, my 'stop-gap' car is this sporty little number ;) .....

I will post up some photo's and report on my trip to the AMG factory and the Geneva motorshow soon!

Interesting font on those numberplates .

Nice to have a little uncertainty 'injected' into your life!
Glad the dealers are looking after you, and think of what you can do with the money you save in fuel bills over the next couple of weeks!

Are those Mongolian number plates you have.:D:D

Why do councils approve such dense housing & narrow roads that doesn't allow for enough car parking space & forces people in brand new developments to park on the pavement?

I see it everywhere.

I suppose that really is "roughing it" !!!

Yeah, a real bummer!

Yes I agree...it's a hard life ;)

It's actually not that bad on my road as all the houses have off-road parking for 2 cars - including me except my missus didn't park her car correctly and tookup two spaces - typical women drivers! Also, there seeme to be a large amount of visitors to one of my neighbours...maybe I should complain lol!! :D

What made you want to sell it and get another C63 (Or have I missed something whilst away)
